The London Time Bank is a resource for all Londoners aimed at recycling all the time and skills of people that currently go to waste - into new kinds of support and help for London's people.

This Timebank is based in the Derwent area of Derby. It was established in January 2004 and now has 160 participants. The Derwent centre also runs a book swop and tool bank.

Over the past six years Fair Shares has pioneered community time banks using time banking in the UK.

Fair Shares plays a significant role in developing time banking in The South West, and Time Banks UK offers support to time banking in the rest of the UK.
